Summer jewellery should bring to mind happy times - on the beach, holidays, BBQs, by water, having fun with family and friends.  The way to achieve this effect when designing summer jewellery is to use colour and certain gemstones.

Any stones that have bright vivid colours are good for summer.  Sun yellow citrine, fiery red or orange carnelian, bright dyed coral, or sea breeze natural cooling turquoise and peridot.  However, many other stones are also suitable, like some turquoise dyed every colour imaginable.
